TRAVELING NORTH MIDDLE MATO GROSSO.

This week I am traveling in the middle northern Mato Grosso - DIAMANTINO, MUTUM and DECIOLÂNDIA, crops are harvested around 70%, and incomes are falling, productivity around 50 bags per hectare, down 65 bags of early varieties and 10% inferior to the average of 2009. An ongoing concern is still the rust, as rains are still present, there are many mid-cycle crops with losses of 10 to 15%, beautiful and without weight. I realized then the producer's decision not to sell soybeans this period of low prices, because it will account for the collection and return only after the sale or exchange for inputs. The local industries and exportadres are already troubled by the silence of producers in sales. I myself have received in my soybean silo and did not find interest in the producer price fixing since last week. I hope to reward the best producers from the falling price of shipping, this rather expensive, 25 to 35% higher than in 2009 (easy to understand the producer's decision not to make sales), or by the reaction of the CBOT price, the likely.
Coming days will be in Tangara da Serra, Campo Novo dos Parecis and Sapezal, up there with the news.
